What is MCU?

MCU or Marvel Cinematic Universe is an American forum franchise centered on a series of superhero films that Marvel Studios produces. All these movies are inspired by the characters that appeared in the comics published by Marvel Comics. It also produces short films, TV series, and computerized series. MCU is commercially successful and has received positive reviews.

What is the Infinity Saga?

Infinity Saga is a three-phase series of Marvel’s Avengers. This saga is named Infinity Saga as it is centered on the six Infinity Stones and the quest of Thanos to collect these. This Saga includes twenty-three movies from Iron Man to Spiderman: Far From Home.

What is Phase-1?

Marvel’s phase-1 is also named Avengers Assembled. The name itself suggests the exact plot of the same. Phase one starts with the first independent movie of Marvel Studios and has a total of six movies. It was started in the year 2008 and completed in the year 2012.

1. Iron Man

Release date: May 2, 2008

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges. Gwyneth Paltrow, Clark Gregg, and others.

an industrialist, genius inventor, and consummate playboy, Tony Stark. He is in Afghanistan with his friend and lieutenant colonel James Rhodes to demonstrate a new missile. 

There the convoy was attacked by the terrorist group Ten Rings. In that attack, Tony was critically wounded by the missile of his own company and was abducted by them. Then a fellow captive doctor Yinsen implanted an arc- reactor in his chest. 

What happened next? 

Well, you can say Iron Man was born!


2. The Incredible Hulk

Release date: June 13, 2008.

Cast: Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, Christina Cabot

At Culver University in Virginia, General Thaddeus Ross meets Dr. Bruce Banner who is the colleague and boyfriend of his daughter Betty Ross. It was about an experiment that was supposed to make normal humans immune to gamma radiation. However the experiment fails and because of the Gamma radiation exposure, Dr. Bruce Banner turned into the Hulk.

What happened after that is the epic story we all know!


3. Iron Man 2

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson

After Tony Stark reveals his identity as Iron Man, Ivan Vanko the son of former Stark Industries employee Anton Vanko who just died gets to know about it. Then he starts to build a miniature arc reactor similar to Tony’s. He attacks Tony during a race. He does so to prove that Iron Man is not invincible.


4. Thor

Release date: May 6, 2011

Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins

Thor was stripped of his godly power and exiled to Earth as a mortal with his hammer Mjolnir protected by an enchantment that would allow only the worthy to wield it when he confronts Laufey with his brother Loki, his childhood friend Sif and the Warriors Three without Odin’s permission.

5. Captain America: The First Avenger

Due to his various health and physical problems, Steve Rogers is rejected in the selection of world war 2 military recruitment. Still, he tries again while attending the future technologies exhibition with his best friend Sgt. James Bucky Barnes. Dr. Abraham Erskine allows Steve to enlist after he overhears his conversation with Bucky. He is recruited into the strategic scientific reserve as a part of the Super Soldier experiment.

And that’s how a skeleton-looking Steve became Captain America!

6. The Avengers

Release date: May 4, 2012

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson

Loki comes to Earth to retrieve Tesseract, with the help of the Chittauri army. He controls the mind of Hawk-Eye and Dr. Erik Selvig so that he can create a wormhole and Chittauri can enter the Earth. Nick Fury reactivates “Avengers Initiative ” to protect the city from Loki. Avengers Initiative has Captain America, Iron man, Black Widow, Hawk-Eye, Hulk, and Thor.
